BREAKING CAMP CHECKLIST
ITEMS TO BRING CHECKLIST

Because we were novices to camping, we lacked the necessary equipment to begin our adventure with confidence. The Internet was a very important resource as it provided the information we desperately needed to be successful. Using the search engine at Excite, we were able to browse web sites for pricing and locating our camping trailer and truck. Many of the links we used while researching are listed to the right of this page. To use them, you must be connected to the Internet first. Major equipment for our adventure was purchased locally and, in the case of the camping trailer, from out of state. There were several dealerships near our home, but our specific trailer needs were not satisfied by any of them. We needed a camping trailer that could house our Harley Davidson motorcycle, and after deciding which trailer to purchase, we used the Internet for locating a dealer. In our situation, there were two dealers in Florida and one in Delaware that had our trailer for sale. We chose Delmarva RV Center in Delaware because it was closer to our home, and the trailer was less expensive there as well. Checklists are a must on any vacation, and our adventure was no different. Terry 21C Camping Trailer Our 2001 camper was purchased from Delmarva RV Center in Milford, Delaware after many months of researching Sport Utility Trailers and Car Hauler/Camper conversions. We finally decided on the Terry, which was manufactured by Fleetwood.RV. The interior layout was perfect for our needs as were the features. There was plenty of room and storage space for just about anything we need including our motorcycle. As you can see, the back end of the trailer has a ramp allowing us to take our motorcycle with us.

Harley Davidson FatBoy (FLSTF) Motorcycle We have enjoyed our Harley Davidson Fatboy since purchasing it new in 1998. Prior to this trip, we rode it in both Myrtle Beach, South Carolina during Bike Week and Daytona Beach, Florida during Biketoberfest. We have also cruised the highways and byways of both Virginia and North Carolina for the past 3 years. Since our trip, the roads of 30 states are now under the rubber!

Ford F350 Our brand new 2002 Ford F350 SuperDuty truck was a genuine workhorse while at the same time being extremely comfortable on the road. With the 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel, Electric 4X4 shift on the fly, dual rear wheels and 8´ bed, we had no problems carrying our stuff and pulling the trailer.

Sony S70 Digital Camera Our Sony camera was one of the best on the market when it was purchased. It took excellent digital pictures, which are suitable for viewing and/or printing up to 8” X 10” using even the least expensive photo quality paper. Click for features.
