I was having a problem with interference in my electronics and had the hardest time trying to figure out what the problem was. I include this here so you can avoid the same problem. I had originally purchased a BE/VR to provide 5 volts of power to my receiver. Everything else was powered by 12 volts including my speed controllers and motors. My forward battery powered the receiver (through the BE/VR) and also the two (2) Multi-Switch-Prop 12+2 Decoder Memory modules (#8370.) The rear battery powered the speed controllers and motors. The batteries were not connected together; there were two (2) separate power systems. Because I didn´t want power going back to the receiver from the BEC´s inside the speed controllers, I removed the red wire in the servo extensions (as per instructions.) Everything worked fine except for the interference that appeared every now and then. Servos would activate on their own, motors would chirp and the Clippard valves would activate on occasion. Very troubling! |

Whelp, to solve the problem I removed the BE/VR in the forward WTC altogther. This removed power from the receiver as well. To get power to the receiver again, I reinstalled the red wires in the servo extensions of my speed controllers. At last ... finally ... no interference whatsoever!!! It worked. |
