Automatic Leveling Control (APC-3) Installation

The Automatic Leveling Control (APC-3) sits on a piece of Celtec and is held in place with Velcro®. I wanted to be able to move/adjust it´s position after I set the initial trim of the submarine (down the road). But for now, this is where it will go.
The APC-3 controls the stern planes when submerged to keep the sub on an even keel and running level. I will be able to override the automatic setting because it is also connected to one of the proportional channels of my expansion module.

There is also a capability of having an on/off switch, but I don´t believe that will be necessary. The proportional channel works fine (so far) on the test bench.
I decided to remove the Velcro® and install the APC-3 with an adjustable stand. The stand is clear Lexan® with two holes drilled at either end. Bolts are used for the adjustment, and they are threaded into the Celtec below. The bolts are held in place against the Lexan® with neoprene tubing.
Here is a closer view showing the forward and aft adjustment bolts. These will allow me to adjust the APC-3 and level it according the how the submarine sits in the water. The APC-3 is attached to the Lexan® using 3M double-sided tape.
