The real fireboat has SKUM monitors and nozzles. There are links to SKUM on my links page. A breakdown of the real monitors is as follows:
  • 2 - 1000 GPM Monitors
  • 3 - 3500 GPM Monitors
  • 2 - 5500 GPM Monitors
  • 1 - 11000 GPM Monitor
  • 2 - Under Wharf Nozzles
My fireboat will have the same number of monitors and nozzles, but they will certainly not squirt the amount of water as the real ones. They will however, all work!

I plan to fabricate my plumbing and monitors from PVC and brass tubing, hose, Celtec, brass rod and several screws.
The pumps I´m using are Rule Bilge Pumps with a capacity of 360 GPH each. These draw 12 volts and 2.1 AMPS each.

My plan is to have 1 pump for the 11000 GPM Monitor, 1 pump for the 1000 GPM Monitors, 2 pumps for the 5500 GPM Monitors, 2 pumps for the 3500 GPM Monitors and 1 pump for the Under Wharf Nozzles.
