After laying on 3 layers of fiberglass cloth, several coats of resin were applied. |
| Sanding was next with a palm sander and rough sandpaper. Epoxy sands very easily, and obtaining smooth lines was easy as well. |
But ... regardless of the smooth lines, there were still high/low spots that needed correcting. I did this using Bondo®. After letting the Bondo® cure, more sanding was needed to obtain a smooth finish. Again, sanding was accomplished using rough sandpaper. |
| After sanding the final coat of resin, it was time to apply flat gray Krylon® primer paint. I´ve used this paint before on Epoxy resin and it works very well. |
I like to apply primer before touching up any imperfections in the finish mainly because they are easier to see. |
| There won´t be much touching up to do on this job however! One or two small pinholes were all I could find that need touching up. |

Doesn´t she look fine? |
